Volunteer F.A.Q.

Why put a free clinic in Lake Highlands?

By using the urgent care model and adding the element of free health care to the uninsured and the underinsured we hope to reduce the number of non-emergent visits to emergency rooms and unnecessary ambulance calls. Over 90,000 people live within a two-mile radius of the clinic. This area has a lower average income than 83% of other U.S. neighborhoods.

What types of volunteers are needed at the clinic?

Questcare Clinic, a Watermark community church partnership thrives through the hearts of people who want to give generously of their time, talent, and resources. Both medical and non-medical professionals are needed:

  • Advanced practice professionals, registered nurses, and other medical professionals
  • Receptionists, translators, pastoral care, and others
