Volunteer Roles

There are a number of ways to serve with us! Check out the descriptions below to see how you can participate with us!

For all roles your first step is joining us at a Come and See event. Click here to sign up for the next ones, or to contact our staff with more questions!

Front Desk: This is the first person to welcome, comfort, and get to know our patients! Volunteers that thrive in this role are friendly, inviting, and detail-oriented. They help us make a great first impression and manage the lobby.

Nurses/Medical Techs: We can’t function without the medical community utilizing their specific talents to provide onsite urgent care. Volunteers in this role help us tend to the physical conditions of our patients while also caring for them emotionally and spiritually during their time here.

Pastoral Care: Our mission involves making sure we’re addressing spiritual care, not only physical needs. Pastoral Care volunteers play a crucial role evangelizing, providing biblical counsel, as well as praying with patients.

Providers: Providers that serve with us have the opportunity to facilitate medical care to our patients that others are not able to do. Patients that don’t usually have access to services, can receive excellent healthcare in a context where they feel loved because of volunteers that serve in this way!

Dental Services:  Dentists, hygienists, and assistants serve our patient’s dental needs every week in the clinic. By taking care of their urgent dental needs, you get to help patients in a moment of pain, and care for them emotionally in the midst of a difficult season.

Medical Consult and Referrals: If you are a provider and your medical specialty isn’t the best fit for urgent care services, you can still serve our patients and support what happens here at teh clinic through your office! We have a team of consult and referral doctors that we can send patients to for low cost or no cost services. We also have specialists come in for continuing education opportunities for our mid-level staff.

Clinic Connecting Team: We have a number of great conversations on site with our patients and many of them ask for the opportunity to connect with ministries at Watermark. A team of volunteers that serve off-site follow up with patients and play a link in connecting them with resources to support their spiritual growth. If you have already gone to a Come and See event your next step is to fill out the application on this page.

We always need help with administrative support to make the clinic run smoothly each day!  You can serve us by coordinating events, planning donation support for patients, doing computer work, and helping us to clean. There are a number of options on how to help in this way!
